2690 Sq.ft Courtyard Traditional Indian Home Design

Traditional Home Plan - THP 8002

This 2690 Sq.ft. house encloses a most sought after courtyard space within its limits which can be viewed from the minute you enter the verandah of the house. The verandah also has more than enough space for having those long evening talks or lunch meets along the inbuilt seating created at the wall. To the left of the courtyard is the formal living room and to the left is the master bedroom space. The master bedroom also has an attached bathroom to itself for convenience.

Further when we look into the layout we will notice the open kitchen which can easily serve food for the open dining space which also overlooks the central courtyard area and the entrance verandah. 1265 Sq.ft. Floating House Floor Plan

Unique House Plan UHP - 6001

This simple rectangular plan of 1265 sq.ft. one floor house is unique in its approach and feel. The idea of having a floating floor slab imparts a feeling of lightness to the overall structure. The front glass imparts complete visibility from the living room which also accommodates an open kitchen along with the dining space. Although the plan in quite compact still it makes provision for a store room which is accessible from the passage space which leads one to the main bedroom area.

The large size of the master bedroom makes it just right for a relaxation as well as creates a corner niche for seating / reading. This homes floor layout is quite simple and efficient at the same moment. This 1945 Sq.ft. house is more appropriate for any square sized plot of around 40 ft. X 37 ft. Interesting orientation of the house around a small central garden gives this small house of 1065 Sq.ft. a distinct breath of fresh air. The central garden is something which can be noticed from the minute you approach towards the living room main entrance lobby.

The frontage of the house is dominated by the living room with clear glass façade to give a feeling of an open home. Once you enter the house the high volume of the room catches attention to the point you realize that is shared along with the open dining area which is next to the semi-open Kitchen.
